Carbon Monoxide InformationAs of March 31, 2006, all Massachusetts residents are required to have carbon monoxide (CO) detectors installed in their homes. Attached is the Consumers Guide to Massachusetts Requirements for CO Alarms by teh MA Dept of Fire Services. This helpful pamphlet will let you know what needs to be done in order to be in compliance with the new law.
Choosing a Hardwood FloorBe sure to ask about the hardness of the species of wood when determining which type of hardwood to install. Some dent & mark easier than others. See this chart as a reference for the hardness of typical hardwood floor species. Be sure to get more accurate hardness info from your distributor or flooring subcontractor!
